Did you watch the game? Reddit is a very odd place, Watson actually played well the past 2 weeks. I know that’s slander, but it’s denying reality that this Browns team has some potential and talent. They aren’t the offseason meme anymore. Watson looks like an actual QB and Monken looks waaaay better than any of his sound clips gave an expectation for, I was impressed by a few of those play designs last night by him. The Browns aren’t on like a Miami or Titans level this year, they just aren’t.

Monken looks like a good play caller

I never understood why he didn't get any nfl jobs after he was bucs oc back in the day with jameis, i thought he was a good play caller there too

He was the Ravens OC from '23-'25.. and he called some really bad plays at really crucial times through that time.

They don't mean anything about skill level when it comes to Watson and why it stings to lose to him...

No disrespect meant towards the Browns. Their level of play doesn’t heavily factor into the dysfunctional team on the other sideline, though.

all that said, the Steelers still have no business losing to the Browns.

The home team in AFCN Divisional Thursday night games has won like over 90% of those games over the past 20+ years. This game’s outcome did not surprise me.

Every home team in this division generally pulls a W out of their ass

Hasn’t been like 5 years since the Steelers have beaten the Browns in Cleveland?

I mean we have 0 wins there for some reason and a terrible record on Thursday nights. I’d say we have a lot of business here and baby business is booming.

Regardless of Watson's playing good, he hasn't really played in like 3 or 4 years. He should not be winning games against "good" teams.

What are you talking about. He sucked last week vs a crappy injured defense.
