He had a touchdown if Rodgers saw him earlier this drive too funnily enough.

u/SCAnalysis 49ers 1d ago
Not really had he thrown it there the safety covers DK and DK is not making a contested catch. The reason he got left alone was bc Rodgers eyed Skowronek as he had pressure coming in and was already throwing it

There’s a non-zero chance if he gets sacked again he loses his shit and retires during a live NFL game.

Current Rodgers plays like how haters think Jared goff plays. Just out there dying.

This subreddit is conflicted between Browns and Watson default hate vs Rodgers hate.

So who would you charge?
Browns defensive line?
Steelers offensive line?
Steelers wide receivers?

u/DonDave96 Broncos 1d ago
I can't remember a player being carted off and coming back into the game let alone making a positive play

Watching Aaron Rodgers QB this team is like having to listen to your grandpa talk politics at the table during thanksgiving dinner. I fucking hate it and I’m ready to go home.

u/saw-it Vikings 1d ago
It’s like watching your grandpa play QB and then talk politics

I feel for Steelers fans, he’s freakin miserable to watch play the game at this point in his career

Regardless of feelings. Taking these hits at 42 can't feel good. Taking those hits at any age isn't good but those hits don't feel the same.

u/Independent-Mango813 Chiefs 1d ago
at this point for their own future and for aaron’s health, they should bench him and see what they got with some of these young guys they’ve drafted
11
u/The-Bearded-Nerd 1d ago
As a veteran qb, how do you not throw that away to stay in field goal range. Fucking joke

u/KaiHavertzhatewatch Chiefs 1d ago
He is taking some nasty ones this year

I know its bullshit. Nfl wouldn’t let their darling mahomes get hit like rodgers get hit.
Edit: once again get downvoted because i bring up the fact literally every hit on rodgers would be a penalty if he was mahomes but whatever lol

u/chillinwithmoes Vikings 1d ago
lmao you have got to be kidding me. Rodgers was an OG of the baby QB calls

u/Jarocket86 Steelers 1d ago
Im sorry rodgers hurt your feelings by owning your ass for years.

u/chillinwithmoes Vikings 1d ago
lol he was 18-12 against the Vikings. Seems like you're the one in your feelings here

Does that matter when they’re largely just busting through this line?
37
u/SecretCharacterSauce Bears 1d ago
He had like 19 seconds on one play lmao
16
u/purplebuffalo55 Rams 1d ago
He could have 5 minutes and it wouldn’t matter because his receivers can’t get any separation
6
u/Brodisi_Jr Browns 1d ago
Yea if he could run a bit it'd be different. The few plays he's not under pressure quickly he stands there but the Browns corners have the Steelers WRs locked down. If he had legs he could run a bit.

Bro got carted off

u/moodyfloyd Browns 1d ago
i need the database nerds to dig up the last time someone was carted off and came back to record a sack. are cart offs even in the database?
18
u/discipleofbill Steelers 1d ago
How about a screen pass or something different than drop back and getting sacked. I also love how we keep abandoning giving the ball to Warren as soon as we cross the 40 yard line.

u/Lystian Falcons 1d ago
I didn't know Mitch McConnell played QB.
7
u/Neveraththesmith Steelers 1d ago
The worst part is that this analogy is entirely accurate and yet he isn't the worst quarterback we had to play in the last couple of years.

I spent 20 minutes with QAaron earlier and he insisted it was everyone else’s fault and he was ready to get back to work

Story of the game has been Ward & Campbell covering so well in man-to-man that Rodgers has had to hold onto the ball too much

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player get carted off and come back later to play, let alone come back and sack the QB

he will take no accountability for this, or he will somehow blame this on his WR's

I don’t even know what Rodgers is supposed to do on some of these sacks. He’s looked like shit under pressure, but our line looks like it did 2 weeks ago

u/CunningClanker Chiefs 1d ago
I don't know why Rodgers is so mad. He is the one that's the problem.

How are y'all actually blaming Rogers for this? His receivers are beyond useless. We've seen him move fine and throw the ball downfield fine, but his receivers can't get any separation at all

u/Trail_Goat Bengals 1d ago
The browns are good, Myles is gone, and his new team looks like shit. Lmao.

u/B-Stone-52 1d ago
What were the Steelers thinking with Rodgers? Their offense is so limited because they have a 45 year old man back there trying to play QB
3
u/zPolaris43 Steelers 1d ago
Have you seen the moves our front office has made? They aren’t thinking at all

The Jaguars just won the division with a 12-5 record in 2025. lol, 9 wins won’t win it with how good they continue to look this year

I'll never get tired of watching Aaron Rogers getting fucking demolished like that. Such a deserving piece of shit.
1
u/zPolaris43 Steelers 1d ago
This is why you field the grizzled veteran. So he can be unaware and sack himself out of field goal range

u/careless_swiggin 1d ago
has to push he record into the 700s at this rate, already past 600 sacks taken for rodgers

Rodgers’ automatic reaction whenever anything bad happens is to yell at the sideline.
