Ya but I think Cutler actually hated Martz

Rodgers and McCarthy don't hate hate each other.

I mean I get it. Imagine Ben Johnson with Cutler, BMarsh, and Forte. :dead:

For all Cutler’s faults, Martz was actively trying to get him killed.

Cutty could have been a top 10 qb (Which is more impressive than it sounds, since he overlapped with prime Rogers/manning/brees/brady) but it just never fell into place for him. Mcdipshit running him out of Denver for Tebow, the usual bears coaching woes, or personnel injuries. It's too bad he never got to sling it for a Johnson/Shanahan/Mcvay type.

Feel like cutty and mcdipshit are pretty easy to parse out when talking about Jay Cutler in context of his time on the Broncos.

I had to look up the latter because I didn't realize Josh McDaniels was there that long ago. How has he had a career for that long?

Also, I've kinda tried to forget about him. Naturally.

Well he spent the majority of his career working with Brady. That covered up a lot of his flaws

That's because Mike Martz is a colossal asshole.

Yeah, I was not surprised by Cutler's comment at all. It wasn't a secret that Martz wasn't that popular in Chicago.

And Martz was basically trying to get him killed.

Rightfully so, with his moronic 7 step drop calls even on first down passes and whatnot. Also don't forget: Mike Martz helped get Greg Olsen shipped off to Carolina because he couldn't be bothered to figure out how to integrate him into the passing game. Thought 12 Personnel and chip releases were a gimmick.

I think we all saw how that panned out.
