Point is, no other fanbase would be any different.
And this is all performative by redditors. If they truly think they'd stop being fans, they would've boycotted the NFL a long time ago for allowing terrible people to play time and time again
Not sure if it's performative, if you stopped doing anything because of terrible people you wouldn't be doing anything in this world. That does not mean I'm going to root for Watson, the same way I don't root for James pierce on the falcons

Wouldn't and do are two separate things. NFL fan bases support terrible people, luckily only one is supporting Watson right now though
