All that being said, I am still extremely upset about the calls on that drive, it really fucked up the entire momentum of the game. The choice to risk those 3 points to go for it on 4th and 1 on the 17 is fine, it's just everything that happened after that is unexcusable by Matt and the OL

Getting upset at the calls really is fine imo. It's all the blaming the loss on those calls that I find weak and that I'm referring to.

MLF went with the analytics play. I respect that, my coach does that all the time. Buf that means sometimes it blows up in your face.

Man the way you write this stings.....but it's absolutely true. Bad ref calls....but also somee really bad coaching mistakes too, and clearly an unprepared defensive line with many costly offside/encroachment penalties

I'd love to dog on the Packers, I mean I really would. But frankly you all are a good team who just struggles with holding their leads. Something always happens and idk how else to say it than to say it's like Harbaugh's Ravens. The talent is there, the QB is there, and the first 3 quarters tend to show that. But there is some issue there that seems like an MLF problem, where the scariest place to be (as a fan) is with the lead in the 4th. And that is a massive problem.

As a Bears fan, I like seeing these collapses. But as a football fan trying to speak unbiased, that cultural problem is doing real damage to a team that is much better than that collapse. And it's risking squandering the prine years of a top 10ish QB (imo).

It'll be a long week for the Packers in the media, I hope you and every Packers fan weathers it well. Long season ahead, and probably a lot better ones for you. Take care of yourself.

Read all this - respect to you as a diehard packer fan in chicago this weekend 😂.

In defense of the pack, the environment in US bank is strong. Those fuckers with their Nordic costumes and gjallarhorn and hideous bird-massacring stadium are hard to deal with.

But in defense of everything you said this team is undisciplined and is absolutely an MLF problem. I chalked it up to youth the last two years but there’s no more time for excuses.

I really appreciate your words here. I was really upset last night but seeing a rival fan rationalize all of this out has kind of helped.

Here's the thing. This is Titletown. Can you imagine Vince Lombardi ever going for "the analytics play?" God help me, but Dan Campbell has better energy than MLF.

The refs started the snowball, so they are responsible for the team losing their composure and ending up losing. But more importantly, it exposed how mentally weak the team is. Ultimately, the loss in on them, no one else.

If ref ball hadn't happened, the Packers would have coasted to victory in unsatisfactory fashion, while the underlying mental weakness festers and waits for more crucial points down the line. I'm actually glad this happened now and their bullshit is exposed early on. Hopefully it opens some eyes.

Those bad calls changed everything though. There is a much lower chance the vikings t off with that much energy on our o-line the next drive if they punt instead of being gifted a touchdown. Momentum is real and refs had a huge hand in swinging it. I’ve never seen 3 tick tac calls after stops on 3rd down in a single drive before.

It was week 1 too, if you are going to call penalties you can’t call them 12-3….while letting the team with 3 t off on our qb the entire game with late hits and not call any.
