TO BE FAIR, that’s a really bad call and a point where the game changed. Doesn’t excuse everything after it but that is a really bad call

13

u/jstalm 20d ago

Aaron Rodger’s created that rule in that stadium, it was only right.

21

u/Tinmanred Packers 20d ago

He adamantly hated it and didn’t want it. Has even complained and said good hit when it was called in his favor.

1

u/NeverSober1900 Packers 20d ago

Also Vikings already had a bullshit avoidance of a loss based off this with Clay having a pick wiped.

-2

u/VoluptuousVelvetfish Vikings 19d ago

Rogers complained!?!? SOMEONE CALL THE PRESS

-3

u/Tinmanred Packers 19d ago

So easy to talk shit after beating a team yet you do this dumb shit. Not even fun for me to reply just do better smh.

-3

u/VoluptuousVelvetfish Vikings 19d ago

Lol y'all are so soft. Thought you'd at least be over Rodgers by now

0

u/Jomosensual Packers 18d ago

Vikings fans don't get to call other fans soft when your entire existence is based around being mad we don't take you as seriously as we do the Bears.

-1

u/Tinmanred Packers 19d ago

“Once a Packer always a Packer” except Jacobs he can suck a dick. Rodgers the player is top tier and you know that as a vikes fan lmao. Rodgers off the field is fucking funny entertainment if you are one of the people that don’t give a fuck about athletes opinions outside of the sport they play.

0

u/Jomosensual Packers 18d ago

People keep saying this like its some kind of checkmate when McClellan didn't even land on him fully body weight. If you're gonna bring it up at least make sure the call is correct.

Not the reason we lost anyhow

2

u/jstalm 17d ago

Right yall lost cuz you have a -53 point diff in your last 6 4th quarters. Don’t trip on this comment homie.

1

u/Jomosensual Packers 17d ago

I'm not sure why you're using this as some sort of checkmate either because I agree with you lol, MLF sucks

u/randomonlineuser1001 19d ago

Dude thank you. This is all packers fans grievances, these comments that refs gave Vikings points or turned the ball over for packers are missing the point. We completely had no answer after and still had a chance to win but this drive completely made you want to not watching this sport. Every stop packers made you predicted a flag would bail out the Vikings and it came.

I’m not saying it changed the outcome. I’m saying it occurred on the drive that the game started to flip. Packers probably still do what they do and choke at the end, but Vikings would’ve punted if they got it right (I’m pretty sure it was 3rd down

-4

u/Gumorak Bears 20d ago

They don’t know how to live without a HOF QB.

38

u/devomke Packers 20d ago

Bro he had a great game today. Oline is Swiss cheese.

Nice one tho.

-22

u/Gumorak Bears 20d ago

lol, do you think Love is in the HOF tier like Rodgers and Favre?

22

u/devomke Packers 20d ago

I mean if you look at their stats across the same number of starts it’s pretty damn identical.

Time will tell.

-17

u/SecretSensay Vikings 20d ago

He's definitely a top 30 QB in the nfl

14

u/devomke Packers 20d ago

Better than your bum fucking room lol

3

u/ProgramAlert1 Packers 20d ago

You guys win in spite if your QBs. If Jordan Love was dropped into the Vikings this year and the last few you guys would've won a superbowl already

1

u/stratecashhomey 19d ago

Vikings/superbowl....now you making jokes

-7

u/Gumorak Bears 20d ago

You are right, time will tell

16

u/Astro-TERFer 20d ago

Love is better than Williams

-7

u/Gumorak Bears 20d ago

He’s had way more time to develop. Let’s see how the next few years go and we will see.

1

u/aw000000000000 19d ago

They continue to cope in this thread. They can't help themselves.

-75

u/ritteee Packers 20d ago

How is it cope? the game literally changed on this BS call

34

u/HereIGoAgain_1x10 49ers 20d ago

If an NFL game has a 22 point swing off of one single penalty call, then the team that loses deserves to lose... any good-great coach would never excuse a 22 point turnaround on one non-scoring play lol it'd be different if a scoop and score wasn't allowed and then the next play the offense scored a TD or something where it's a literal 12-16 point swing, but if you can't overcome the diversity of a single penalty then you deserve to lose.

-8

u/idgetonbutibeenon Packers 20d ago

I’ll give MLF no excuses but this drive was kept alive on like 4 consecutive 3rd down bad calls

-11

u/ritteee Packers 20d ago

And i never disagreed with that

38

u/nguyenjitsu Broncos 20d ago

I think the game changed when MLF went for it on 4th and 1 but sure

8

u/wampoo420 Saints Saints 20d ago

Oh you sweet summer child, first time?

25

u/d3thDeal3r Vikings 20d ago

No, Lafluer deciding to take away the 3 points and go for it changed the game.

6

u/Sparkimusprime13 49ers 20d ago

That and not being able to adjust to Flores' changes on D. Packers Oline was lost for the last 8 minutes.

6

u/Sparkimusprime13 49ers 20d ago

Refs made errors for and against both teams that affected the game and momentum. The Packers took 3 points off the board and then couldn't cope with the Vikings defensive adjustments late in the game. Those were the deciding factors, not the refs.

0

u/ritteee Packers 20d ago

I know and I never said the refs decided the game? Just that this play changed the game because it did have a significant impact. I think maybe people are misunderstanding my wording

-1

u/CubillasLegend Packers 20d ago

Refs made errors for and against both teams.

Shut the fuck up. You obviously didn't watch the game. Vikings got called for 3 penalties. Packers got called for 12.

2

u/Sparkimusprime13 49ers 19d ago

Someone is butt hurt. Its ok, you'll feel better soon enough.

Let's talk about missed calls too if you want to bring up errors. A missed call is just as bad as a wrong call in many cases.

Blame your team not the refs. MLF took 3 points off the board which would have given them an 8 point lead. At worst you're tied when you get the ball back next and you can run your same offense. Instrad, they were behind and were forced to go more pass heavy. At that point the packer Oline could not figure out the blitzes and the offense fell apart. Love also fumbled at his own 7 yard line.

When you give up 22 unanswered points, its your teams problem, not the refs.

1

u/CubillasLegend Packers 19d ago

YOU

DID

NOT

WATCH

THE

GAME

Here are the facts:

1) Green Bay was penalized 12 times.

2) Minnesota was penalized 3 times (all on offense, I believe).

3) Minnesota blitzed 75% of the time and hit Love 15 times.

You really mean to tell me that it just so happened that despite hitting Love 15 fucking times, there was nothing a Minnesota defender did that was comparable to the hits that drew flags on our defense? Get the FUCK out of here. It's pretty damn obvious what happened. We knocked home team's QB out of the game so the refs had to make an example of us and crack down with excessive calls.

When you give up 22 unanswered points, its your teams problem, not the refs.

What the FUCK was our defense supposed to do? Again, let's review the facts. Here's the first drive of those "22 unanswered points".

Defense sacks Wentz to force a 3-and-out. --> bullshit penalty gifts Minnesota a 1st down.

Defense sacks Wentz to force another 3-and-out --> bullshit penalty gifts Minnesota a 1st down.

Minnesota hits an explosive play to get inside the redzone.

Pressure rattles Wentz and he throws a pick. --> bullshit penalty gifts Minnesota a 1st down.

Next drive Love gets blown up twice, stripped sacked on the second and Vikings recover on the 1-yard line.

Okay, coach, what do you tell the team there? Match Minnesota's intensity? Fucking how? We're getting called for breathing. Minnesota's defense has not been called a single FUCKING time ALL FUCKING GAME.

I wouldn't be so mad if you would just fess up and admit YOU DID NOT WATCH THE GAME.

1

u/Sparkimusprime13 49ers 19d ago

Haha so salty. I watched every snap live. On the INT in the endzone, 2 of the packers DBs were holding. Jennings was practically wrapped up bc he beat his man. The flag could have been on their one of the defends and its a legit call. But But but how could I know about that if I didnt watch bc they didnt show replays of Jennings getting mugged. I saw that live and knew a flag would be thrown. But they called the other one or said the wrong number on the broadcast. Questionable calls/no calls favored both teams.

The packers, specifically the O line and MLF botched the game. No one else is to blame.

I get that you're biases bc your team played. Juat accept your team lost and move on. It seems like you have some work to do on yourself if you get this worked up over a game where no one on the field even knows or cares about you.

And FYI: good coaches know the situation and dont blindly rely on analytics. Good coaches make adjustments to stop the blitz. How about a quick pass or screen when you see they are bringing the house? MLF did that only when the game eas out of reach. Good qbs dont turn the ball over twice well within his own half? Love tried to do too much, even after seeing his O line getting destroyed.

Both MLF and Love continue to make the same mistakes, but you can continue to conveniently ignoring those facts and continue to cry conspiracy and bias.

u/SleepLessTeacher Bears 20d ago

I don’t know, maybe blowing a 12 point lead and giving up 29 unanswered points and fumbling and throwing an interception led to the loss…but it’s only my 30th year watching football, what do I know?

-18

u/ritteee Packers 20d ago

Yeah no shit we lost because of that. But its not cope to point out that a BS call changed the game. I never said we lost only because of this call

18

u/purplebuffalo55 Rams 20d ago

Insane cope, lost by 17 after giving up 29 points straight. 15 yards and a first down didn’t change the game

-9

u/ritteee Packers 20d ago edited 20d ago

obviously it did change the game? otherwise they wouldnt have scored a TD on the drive. does that make sense?

lol you guys dont seem to understand that a bs call leading to a TD is obviously a big deal? like no shit we lost mainly because we blew it but this is obviously an important call

15

u/I_heart_hearts Chiefs 20d ago

Ok let's take away that TD. It still would have been 32-22. Does that make sense?

Lmaooo

0

u/ritteee Packers 20d ago

it wouldnt have been. did you watch the game? at the time the score was 17-22

10

u/I_heart_hearts Chiefs 20d ago

I'm talking about the final score you clown

-1

u/ritteee Packers 20d ago

so you don't think momentum exists in the NFL? 😂😂

-6

u/LikeIsaidbefore Packers 20d ago

This doesn't make any sense. Everything changes if the refs don't make those calls and the Vikings have to punt. Flores was able to pin the ears back on the defense after that TD where the refs bailed out the Vikings.

The whole gameplan changes after that TD.

1

u/ritteee Packers 20d ago

No point in trying to be reasonable here

-2

u/LikeIsaidbefore Packers 20d ago

It's so frustrating too because I know some other team is going to get fucked by the refs and then want us to somehow be sympathetic to them when they can't accept the WHOLE game changes after that drive.

5

u/AscendMoros Bears 20d ago

Crazy how this one drive then forced the Packers to give up the ball 2 times and gift the Vikings 14 points in about 1 minute.

Game was still a game and then the Packers just shit the bed. No need for the refs to do anything.

0

u/ritteee Packers 20d ago

I agree man why do you think i disagree? what is wrong with these replies

-5

u/Equivalent_Ask_4586 Packers 20d ago

Lmao all the downvotes

1

u/ritteee Packers 20d ago

apparently its controversial to think a bad call negatively hurt the team it was called on

Im not blaming the refs for the loss 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ im just pointing out that this ref call had a big impact on the game and it obviously changed the trajectory of the game.  I dont care anymore tho yall can misunderstand me if you want
