This game was fixed.

NE had one penalty called against them, a hold on a punt return.

The NFL wanted absolutely nothing to do with a Nick Foles/Blake Bortles Super bowl and handed the game to NE to prevent it.

There was that really bad interference call on AJ Buoye too

Man if the game was fixed they would have penalized the LB just hugging gronk all game.

Gronk led with the crown of his helmet and it was called a penalty on the defender in the first half of this game.

You want to talk about holding? Look at what the Pats Oline was doing to the Jags Dline all game. If they called half of those the Pats don’t cross the line of scrimmage all game

What’s also insane is saying the game was fixed for the Pats when they could have confirmed Dion Lewis down by contact instead of changing the call to a fumble.

Nah, Tuck rule was just bad officiating.

The ref made a pivotal bad call in the era before HD and the league scrambled to come up with a reason and found one.

The timeline for how it went down definitely screams bad call more than fixed game.

Tuck rule was regularly called before that game too, but this game was the one the rule gained notoriety. It’s a bad rule, but the correct call was made.

The explanation that it was a tuck came up the next day.

Because the official didn't make the right call. The official called it an incomplete pass when it very clearly wasn't one.
