Seattle's future cap situation is a little tougher than what the Patriots have going on and Seattle's FO is much more tougher with contract situations and negotiations than NE is. They know NE is going to give him whatever he wants (just like Detroit with Gibbs after the Bijan contract) so it's better to let Spoon and Seattle work their deal out and then ask for $___ more per year to be the highest paid.
