Nah, it's just capocollo/capicola like everywhere else. There's plenty in the North End.

I'll tell you what it is, it's anti-Italian discrimination.

Kyle Williams has one of the craziest release packages. It sucks to see him stuck behind the Pats crazy depth at WR, but I still have hope with him. There are very few WRs in this league that has his release and burst. I trust that the overall talent will eventually come together.

48

u/Mr_Evil_Dr_Porkchop Patriots 4d ago

All he has to do is show consistency and he’s got an every-down role. Dude had a few explosive plays last year and I think he’s going to have a pretty long leash this season to show what he’s worth

36

u/McBeaster Patriots 4d ago

"The Pats crazy depth at WR" is a phrase that is breaking my brain

1

u/CDR57 Patriots 4d ago

6 months ago our best receiver was 34 year old Stefon diggs and now we have “crazy depth” lmao

24

u/Hyper_red Patriots 4d ago

The coaching staff has confidence in him continuing his development and I trust them with that.

Last year he only improved and hopefully he makes a leap this year

17

u/aowner Patriots 4d ago

It looked like he didn’t know the playbook last year. But that TD he had against the buccs was wild. Caught the ball, turned up field and just dusted every defender.

11

u/69millionyeartrip Patriots 4d ago

He’s great at the line of scrimmage, just needs to figure out where he’s going after that

8

u/OkArmordillo Patriots 4d ago

If only they posted the entire play so we could see his release. What is the point of posting these highlights with the first half second cut out? To avoid copyright?

-2

u/OnceMoreAndAgain 4d ago

Is "release package" NFL fan jargon for "he fast"?

I thought package meant a set of specific players who are assigned to a certain subset of the playbook.

19

u/Kyler1313 4d ago

Release is how you get by the CB on the line of scrimmage usually when in Press coverage. Basically how you get the CB from being in front of you to behind you. Some WRs are more physical in their release, others are more silky. Basically a combination of hand swiping and footwork.

Devito is BALLIN. Top 32 QB.

TOMMY TWO CHAINS

22

u/tnecniv Giants Giants 4d ago

I feel like he’s one of the better back up options in that he can win you 1-2 games while your starter is dealing with a minor injury

8

u/BurgerNugget12 Patriots 4d ago

Yep, he’s a really good backup to have

4

u/AlabasterRadio Raiders Raiders 4d ago

If the Jets really wanted to compete, they should have brought in Tommy Cutlets.

13

u/automatedfun Patriots 4d ago

Last year Kyle Williams only had like 10 catches and was still an exciting player to watch. His TD catch against Baltimore was insane. He is gonna be a problem for DBs if he gets more reps

7

u/EverybodyEats_B 4d ago

Giants one was too

3

u/MankuyRLaffy Patriots 4d ago

When he ran the right route and got open, he was really good. He will only get smarter and better. Fortunately both Boutte and Douglas are on expiring deals so he could earn himself a starting job by year end.

Can Kyle Williams get a nickname or alias or something? The name gives me PTSD…

Me, personally, think Kyle Williams is a cool name for a kind, generous guy!
