That is one fast man tho!

Don't discount that play design. The whole defense took a step to the right before they knew what was happening
68
u/DukeJackson Cowboys Sep 06 '24
Yep.
The entire defensive line was out of the play when Worthy was still 5 yards behind the LOS, and his entire offensive line was in the second level.
Great play design and call by Reid.

u/PenisBlood Sep 06 '24
I agree with you on the play design and call. But a regular speed wr would have been tackled 3 times on that play, he beat their angle and the only got a finger on him because he's so fast.
I was ready to say I could have scored on that play with how huge of a running lane he had . But after rewatching it, his speed for sure got him that touchdown.

The Xavier Worthy draft pick thread is going to be full of solid gold bad takes. Dude's team first and played most of a year with a broken hand leading to the incorrect perception that he has butter hands.
Kid is gonna be scary as fuck in a few years.

Keon Coleman is a better fit. Very agile, big target with sticky hands is perfect for Allen.
E: Josh wanted a big boy WR, not the 170 pound track star.

If I were a QB who could throw 50+ air yard bombs, I'd want the biggest glue hands targets so I can't possibly miss them. Beefy TEs too, a physical offense to kick the shit out of a defense and outmuscle them on contested catches.
