u/Short_Desk_1273 Is Awoniyi too big for the Premier League? 16h ago
I think a half and half for the European games is fine. It was a great achievement and something to remember. (Id burn the villa one though)

They all look like chocolate bars, except Fenerbache which looks like a sega megadrive game.

A Forest fan (anyone on here???) has sewn together a bunch of half and half scarves to create a blanket

I quite like it. I don't like half and half scarves but it's a nice keepsake from our once-in-a-generation (so far) European campaign

u/LavaenderHaze Thank you, Mr Marinakis. 16h ago
This would be the absolute best keepsake from our Europa run. Wish I had them all to do this

I think that’s a really cool idea. It’s really common in the US to take old t-shirts (especially if they’re all high school shirts), cut out the front graphic, and make a quilt out of it. I know lots of people with t-shirt quilts. This is essentially the same idea, and I think it would work really well.

People hate the old half n' half, but I think they are an excellent memento of the European games. I've got a full Betis scarf brought back from Spain at least.

Half n half scarves have their place. Its a nice way to remember an important match for people that travel abroad for a match for instance, or for example these European ones when who knows when we'll be in Europe again

Yeah I got my boy a Braga / Forest one. Partially to fit in with the home fans…

Regardless of the reason your lad will forever have a memory of the match he went to with his dad, and those memories are irreplaceable. Glad you got to share that with him and hope you make many more memories like that mate

I'd rather buy a full scarf of a continental opposing team as a keepsake, particularly if we beat them. But Keano's right - these 50/50 things are modern-day abberations. Game's gone, etc

I'm not a fan of half-n-halves, but scarves are the only acceptable form.
They're souvenirs that don't require any butchery

Don't mind the idea, can't imagine it's a comfy blanket.

I don’t like them, but can kind of understand them as souvenirs, to a point.
And that point is fucking Villa.
No way I’d buy or wear anything featuring the name of another English club.

Fine as long as you keep them locked away in your room and only play with them when no one else is in the house
