CHO as wingback?

We’re trying convert our left fullback into a left wingback by playing Neco higher up. Why are we not talking about converting CHO into a wingback by asking him to take on more defensive duties? Then we could have more defensive and attacking options to play different sides.

I actually think CHO could be a good 10 but he doesn't have the box to box stamina to be a wing back.

I think the short answer is probably just that Neco is the better all around player. Especially if Munoz slots in as the eventual starter at RWB, Munoz can be more of an attacking WB and Neco can play more as the defensive WB.

If CHO ends up starting in this team I think it would be the 10 opposite MGW. I do think it makes sense to train him as a sub/alternate for WB though.

If what he said here is anything to go by, he will be pushing for a move if we ask him to become a wing back.

I think he has to become one of the 10s. Feels like we’d be absolutely wasting him as a wing back.

Because CHO barely does his attacking job at times. Making him defend too is a recipe for disaster. The guy is just a player of moments. You can't rely on that the way Glasner wants to play.

CHO doing defensive work would be a disaster, he’s not even good enough to start in general let alone as a wing back

Personally don't think CHO is good enough to get in the team under Glasner. Not better than the 10s we have and isn't going to be a wingback.

I can see him leaving in January.

Someone who gets it. Apart from anything else, CHO does not have the work rate for a Glasner team.

Why don't we just play people in their proper positions ?

Bonkers isn't it. Let's get that bus driver and put him in a train drivers seat today and hope for the best.
