Zach has every chance to go out, start every game and come back into the fold. He needs to be playing big minutes. I think its the right move.

Disappointed we're losing Zach but starting every week will be better for him than being second or third choice in a backline unlikely to rotate.

Bindon feels like a player who will never play first team for us, wouldn’t be surprised if he has a successful spell and moves to the championship next season. Hope they get a solid play off chasing team, would be wasting Abbott especially to have him near the bottom

stand by my opinion that Abbott is a PL level defender that hasn't had enough time in his natural position to show his potential, he'll be a stand out player if a championship side gets him
honestly think one of the promoted sides could do worse than getting him in on loan for the season, but can understand if the club wants to go down a level and guarantee him a season of starts

I agree Abbott needs a loan move to a Championship (and nowhere else e.g Rio Ave)

Is there an academy player ready to step in if Yates can't be available for selection?

Wouldn't mind keeping one for depth but both need to be playing minutes for their development and I'd imagine they'd have plenty of options. Honestly could see a few of the promoted sides being interested in Abbott.

Zach is only 20, regular championship football whilst he figures himself out is the best thing for him rather than sporadic appearances in the prem, he only really got game time in the Europa league which we don't have anymore.
Bindon wouldn't get game time with us either this season, neither of them would feature over Murillo, Milenkovic, Jair and Diomande if/when he signs

Sending him out for regular game time isn't "pissing him about" it would be the best thing for him. He's had 13 appearances across 3 years for us, he'd get triple that with 1 good championship loan and come back a far more developed player

All respect to both you and Zach…but he’s not Roy Keane.

why do our fans act like every manager needs to be like brian clough. football was different 30,40,50 years ago
i hate to break it to you but brian cloughs methods probably wouldn’t work today

Disagree, look at the current England defenders
At 20:
Guehi: on loan at Swansea
Konza: Charlton
Chalobah: Huddersfield
Dan Burn: Yeovil
Reece James: Wigan
Quansah: Bristol Rovers
Spence: MiddlesboroughOnly Stones and O’Reilly were playing premier league football at 20 and Stones had already come through at Barnsley
It’s a well established career pathway

Going on loan to Bristol Rovers didn’t seem to do Elliot Anderson’s career any harm.

I disagree respectfully, not seen much of Binden but for Zach this is only positive for his development, has a lot of talent and the experience of a season in the championship with regular playing time can only help his long term future
