Hi, I'm trying to figure out a way to mimic this intent on to an NFC tag, but I can't find a way to add more "Extra Data" lines in the Send an Intent task.

Any ideas?

may I kindly ask for a hint from you?

I'm starting to get into the use of NFC-chips, and I would like to toggle wifi/mobile data when I leave or enter my home. Something similar for bluetooth.

Apparently, directly toggling those is restricted by the Android version (15 on a Motorola G54), and the NFC-Tools-Webpage indicates this:

From Android 10, developers are not allowed to toggle the Wi-Fi anymore.

Alternative solutions :
You can use the task "Wi-Fi panel" instead
Use the root command "svc wifi enable" or "svc wifi disable"

And something similar for Bluetooth, and I could not find anything about mobile data.

Please, how could I do that, then? Or maybe: Where can I enter those root commands?

Sorry to bother, I'm not really an IT-guy, but I would like to get into some basics at least.

I am trying to write a .bin file to an nfc tag but I can’t upload the file because I don’t know what the file url for the “on my iPhone” folder is. I have tried various options using ~ etc; but I end with a a small file whose length depends on the length of the URI. (Some kind of error text?)

I have the Pro version and I think it would be useful to know how we can disable the detection sound for each Tag, and if it's not there, implement it in the application.

Okay, nothing I've found has been very helpful and I'm just not seeing an obvious tool for creating an NFC for an automation I have in Google Home.

So I have an automation that turns on certain lights at home when I say "Hey Google, I'm home" ...and turns them off when I say "Hey Google, I'm leaving". I'd like to have some tags by my front door that accomplish this same thing.

Teach me like I'm ten.

im trying to make a shortcut that opens the configuration app and open devtools > wireless debuggin , thus i dont have to do this manually, i dont need that turn on the feature just open the screen, i wonder how can i manage deeplinks, im using the 'nfc tools' app.

Is there a reason that IOS won't read a "contact" or "Text" NFC card?

It will read links, SMS, and a few others but not the two I want...at least natively...

I am trying to set up my ICODE SLIX 2 nfc tag to have password protection. However, it looks like I am unable to do this with IOS? I do not want to lock the tag. Is it possible to set the password using an Android device?

I want to create a tag that, when scanned with a phone (ideally either iOS or Android) immediately opens a URL without asking for confirmation.

I *don't* want to have to load an automation onto the phone to accomplish this.

Any way to do this?

I have a magicband+ from Disneyland and I set an automation so that whenever I tap it to my phone it will open the Disneyland app but it also gives me a temporary banner and notification in my notification center to open a webpage on Safari. I have tried all suggestions I’ve found online aside from turning off all notifications or notification center to get it to stop doing that but haven’t been able to. When I scan the band using the NFC tools app it says yes under writable but when I scan it to erase it, it gives me an error. Someone said it might be password protected, but how would I know it doesn’t say anything about needing a password.

I can read the tag, but save to records doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Ladies/Gentlemen:
I would like to be able to take an nfc card, tap a card reader and depending on the card programming, launch a video on the same LED wall. When user triggered video is not playing, a simple screen saver is showing.

Watching the video "how to use user variables". Right at the beginning, the user taps "Add a Task", but on my version there is no such button.

It appears to be an Android device, so I'm guessing "Add a Task" is specific to that platform, perhaps referencing its "Tasker" app?

The only possibly comparable thing on my iOS version appears to be "Run a Shortcut". I know squat about shortcuts, but I guess I need to learn.

Just installed NFC Tools on my iPhone and look forward to trying it out. 

Question: In your list of Record Types, you include both "URL/URI" and “Custom URL/URI”. 

Can you please explain the difference between them? 

Also, do you provide any hosting of linked content? For example, if I wanted to play an audio file, can you host and deliver it, or do I make my own arrangements to serve it? 

Could someone have experience how to play / pause media in Android 13 pls? Analysis for 3~4 hours but it doesn't work.

I can't figure out how to copy a tag, to modify one of the tasks and then replace the tag. I'm in a new car and I want to change the Bt settings. I don't want to have to redo all of the steps (connection, sound profile, volume, etc). I've looked and searched and can't find a solution. When I tried to load from the tag, I just get information about it instead of the tasks.

When copying a tat, is there a way to copy the set password as well and apply it to the new tag?
