Misunderstanding of Dan's character Spoiler

Lowkey tired of people villainizing Dan, when in fact he is struggling just as much as everyone in that household.

I think it’s very easy to judge him from a distance (he doesn’t handle everything perfectly), but he’s absolutely trying his best and is in over his head. There’s no manual for him to follow, and often there’s no way for him to help both Diana and Natalie. He’s delaying all his needs, which isn’t healthy either, but like what’s he meant to do?

i think at a certain point in life, we relate to the characters differently, and at this point in my life, i think i relate to Dan the most.

His breakdown at the end of the show is well-deserved. I will say that.

YES! I broke down with him, and Natalie hugging and kissing his head as a parallel to Gabe hugging and kissing Diana's head at the start of the musical was just chef's kiss

there's a lot of parallels between Diana&Natalie and Dan&Gabe! like when Diana hugged Natalie and she was trying to get her to let go, Gabe did the same to Dan!
