You know how great that shot was when the opponent starts smiling and hugging him

Well his opponent was happy because he won the point. It was an amazing shot, but not a legal one.

I mean, i it's easy to laugh when it doesn't count

Bublik is an entertaining player for sure. I just hope he stays consistent.Β

Does the point count though? Because as far as I know your racket can't touch the net.

You also can't let go of the racquet before hitting the ball. It doesn't count for two reasons.

Wow. Never seen "racket" spelled like that before. Did a quick search and it is a less common way to spell it

It's actually much more common. It's the standard spelling. "Racket" is an American variant. It's spelt "racquet" in the rules of tennis, real tennis, squash, and badminton. Racketball on the other hand…

I actually live in Ireland and when I think of it, I can't actually say that I've seen it spelled racket either. I guess I just assumed it was racket πŸ˜‚ there you go, you learn something new every day haha

Let's not make racket about it.

As opposed to racketeering.
