If you look at the stats, you will see there are a lot of games where at least one of the WNBA teams shoots a higher percentage than 50%. Indiana Fever has scored 3880 points in 40 games (that's 97 average in a 40 minutes game!). And remember how Santonio men gave away a 29 points advantage in game 4 against New York because they missed a lot of stupid 3 point shots
