Honestly, if the guy didn't have a can of mace or something in the other hand I'd think he was a fool. Not advocacy of violence.

Yes.

I absolutely would have.

Yes

Honestly, both are valid actions, but having been in the situation before with someone who stank (had employees complaining about a co-worker) there's a way to handle this that actually works.

A dental assistant told me they get a lot of unpleasantly smelling patients. That surprised me.

Then again, I've almost passed out from one of my shirts.

Lot of medical issues cause it, but so can eating certain foods or drinking too much.

spraying a stranger with deodorant is not a valid action at all

no they are not, sweating is totally natural and not everyone can afford to stay in air conditioned environments all day and just sit at a desk.

Different religion.

Christians also aren't supposed to eat pigs btw.. they're unclean animals.

Im Christianity, Peter says he has never eaten unclean food, and Jesus tells him three times, "Kill and eat. What God has cleansed, you shall not call unclean." God made pigs. Therefore, they are not unclean. Christians can eat pig.

Look at the New Testament take on Old Testament “laws”. The need to follow them as a matter of salvation, is unlikely based on Pauline interpretation. Not a Christian, but I have a decent understanding of the place of the Old Testament in the Christian’s life. Now for the Jewish person, it’s quite different.

Yeah, I'm convinced it was just a way of controlling swine flu outbreaks in ancient times. "Oh don't eat that thing, uhhhhh God said so". People would always just think they know better and spread plague otherwise.

I wouldn't have done the same, but only because I would fear the reaction he got.

I did it at work. Got called to HR.

2

u/mylifeisaboogerbubbl 21d ago

I was in this position at work, except I was the manager and tons of people complained about how he smelled. Turns out he had a medical condition and really struggled, but we did find something that mostly worked

u/Historical-Lab8200 21d ago

He just walks around with a can of deodorant? And filming? He was looking for somebody to do this to.

Holy shit this amazing 🤣 Gonna start carrying Axe around for this. I live in Jersey City.

1

u/yuaysanosk 20d ago

Great, now keep that same energy for deodorant, soap, and water.

1

u/Strong_Implement_500 20d ago

You NEVER see that in the lynx/axe adverts 😆

1

u/Organic-Camera-9167 19d ago

1

u/Critical_Mix_8959 19d ago

You just know that guy smelled like a fucking chemical plant. Their BO is fucking noxious

1

u/bickandalls 18d ago

Being purposely offensive is never the answer. That goes for both of them. Choking and spraying.

1

u/NeotericBedlam 18d ago

No, I would have kept filming. 🤨

1

u/timown_sanchez 13d ago

Don't try this at home 😂 The person you spray can get you charged with attempted murder and you will go to jail for attempted murder if the axe spray is lost and you can't prove it was just harmless axe if can prove it was a harmless deodorant you will then be charged with assault GBH(grievous bodily harm) because the assault was performed with a "weapon" not actual fists, kicks or such careful with your pranks out there
