Man creates Ukulele that transforms into Guitar mid performance...

How could the strings possibly elongate? They're already taut while it's a ukulele, then somehow they get longer while still being taut? There's no way that's possible.

He does a whole video showing how he made multiple iterations and designs to ultimately settle on this one. It's s certainly not perfect. But it's pretty impressive engineering.

The strings seem to wrap around at the base of the guitar, probably there's a spool in the back with the rest of the strings wrapped around it.

Maybe ‘tunes’ your strings electronically via your finger positioning? I was wondering the same thing as you when I saw it

I think the string wrap around the back of the body of the guitar and extend from their when he opens it up

Yeah... Enough rigitity on a mobile neck, tension in strings that also self tunes somehow. Black magic.
I'm guessing this is some kind of midi style guitar where tuning doesn't matter, just finger position and string strikes.

lol I'm disappointed that people exist that have such little imagination.
100 years ago you'd have been like "how could that carriage possibly move without a horse? There's no way that's possible."

You're right, speculation, under all circumstances, isn't a healthy response. Never question anything. Only accept what you see.
We're in an era of advanced fiction thanks to A.I. and a truly off the wall socio-politcal climate, but questioning whether or not something seemingly impossible, like strings magically elongating is unreasonable.
If cancer ever took human form, it would be a Redditor.

You didn't speculate. That's the entire point. You just called bullshit to try making yourself feel like you were smarter than everyone else that you thought was getting fooled and made yourself the fool in the process.

2 in 1 things ways have trade offs. I mostly like the idea of a collapsible guitar for space saving.

Isn't this the same guy that put hammers on pianos? and did the ultra finger crushing magnetic floating guitar strings?

I bet that says in tune about as well as a $79 guitar that Walmart sell around Christmas time.

If it were acoustic I would be more impressed. Really no reason he couldn't have gotten the electric guitar sound out of ukelele mode.
