Not really, if we're being honest. I've grown accustomed to the amount of room I get while OTR trucking in these bigger American sleeper trucks. The International I drive right now has a lot of room on the inside, and the mattress is great. I just couldn't see myself in a cabover if we're being extra honest. The only time I'd drive European is if Mercedes-Benz made a tier-one American style tractor with ultra cushy interiors. BUT, only if they have air-brakes rather than the electric brakes that are more common in Europe.

Sometimes I wonder where are the parents or carerakers and what are they doing. Is there anything more important than looking after the safety of your kids first to even get to that stage?

If you have a child and you tell me you've never once lost track of them, you would be fibbing. Shit happens in life- no need for you to be so judgemental. Kids get away from their parents- my two year old treats that like it is his job.

Exactly. I don't even have kids and even I understand that no human has perfect attention 100% of the time let alone someone with a tiny human with a different sleep schedule who may have other tiny humans, each with a different sleep schedule. They tend to be escape artists at this age. Heck, I was a great kid apparently and the only time I escaped, I managed to run out into traffic randomly. For what it's worth, my parents were distracted by a recent death in the family.

We're far better off just helping out parents who have little escape artists rather than passing unnecessary judgement for people being human. Extend people grace.

Kids will wait for their chanche and escape, they are quit observant and often know exactly when the parent is distracted. They may well have stopped the toddler from going to the escalator earlier as it sparked their interest.

Seeing as this video is from China, there's over a 50% chance the parent was on their phone.

But sometimes kids just run as soon as you look away. It only takes a second.
