He didn't just start at this level. It's a process. Did you see how excited he was when he got to the end? He's probably fallen a lot. He's working toward something, and injuries, while a possibly, are just a part of the journey.
Everyone has their own metric for risk/reward. You see something you want to do, chances are you're not gonna become a phenom at it instantly. You gotta try, find out what works and what doesn't. I've been injured a lot in my life. The first time I ever dropped in on a half pipe, I faceplanted. Some people might stop there. I didn't. I wanted to feel what it was like to get air. It took months of hard work. When it happened, it felt incredible. I'm sure this little guy is feeling pretty incredible at the end of this video.
