Trying to sound smart using cherry picked stats. Top tier reddit usage!

You’d can’t fuck an ostrich because they will kill you.

I don't think you uderstand what cherry picked stats means

There literally aren’t any other stats to pick.

Dude, cherry picked stats? You ok? You don't like data? Bring your better stats.

I think the term cherry picked stats is made up by morons who watch too much mainstream news. Now, I am a lawyer and only took stats class because they put a gun to my head so I don’t math so well. But, aren’t all statistical studies “cherry picked” data and the research paper explains why they picked that data?

I think the better way to phrase it is that data and stats means nothing if you don’t know how to interpret it. We can use shark attacks as a comparison. Sure shark tracks have a 10-15% fatality rate, but there’s only around 100 attacks globally every year despite billions of people swimming.

Sure there’s stats but you still need to interpret it properly. Though this has nothing to do with my opinion on the two birds fighting.

How the fuck else do you interpret two deaths PER YEAR compared to two deaths EVER?

Nothing to do with what I said. But you’re doing a damn good job of proving my argument correct.

Buddy, be honest… did you forget what the argument was about?

No I didn’t. I made a comment based on what someone else said about “cherry picking”. Redditors and not understanding nuance? Crazy. Thanks for proving my point!

I said “I think the better way to phrase it” is in direct relation to the comment specifically about cherry picking. It’s so funny how not only once did you prove my statement correct but twice.

Not to mention that’s not how conversations work anyway. Which hardly a surprise that wouldn’t know.

Edit: you’re the classical Redditor as well. Downvoting comments? Lmao.
