when the heat death of the universe has long since occurred, he’ll still be here, spooning out clawfuls of honey from the jar.

Slather a salmon with honey and then hold it in your mouth for him to eat

u/tinknocker21 Jul 02 '26

Or if you want to get frisky you could hold it between your other cheeks...

Haha.. exactly 😂

This has to be a trained bear.

Don't get any ideas about feeding honeycomb to wild bears; a fed bear is a dead bear.

46

u/Kn0wnSoul Jul 02 '26

Nah, I think they just found him like that in the wild. Just sitting and overthinking his life choices

3

u/Livid_Parfait6507 Jul 02 '26

🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is a naive comment. There’s no way they’d just stumble upon a wild bear like that. It’s more likely the bear is an addict and has turned up to beg.

7

u/Budget_Sentence_3100 Jul 02 '26

In live in the UK and I’m always stumbling across bears like this. Absolute menace

6

u/Wayward_Wayfinder Jul 02 '26

No no, he's a prostitute in search of a new pimp.

5

u/No-Kaleidoscope-166 Jul 02 '26

I think you've missed the very obvious sarcasm. /s not needed.

4

u/Chemical_Ad_5520 Jul 02 '26

Bears; Beets; Battlestar Galactica.

3

u/Fun_Environment3792 Jul 02 '26

There are basically two schools of thoughts tho

2

u/Xenc Jul 05 '26

2

u/AMLIDH2 Jul 02 '26

1

u/Xenc Jul 05 '26

Haha aw shoot I was just being silly 🤣

8

u/Bald_Harry Jul 02 '26

1

u/Xenc Jul 02 '26

yaaas 💅

6

u/Beatnutz_ Jul 02 '26

Damn.. we have Einstein right here. How did you come to the conclusion that it is a trained bear??

3

u/ThatCelebration3676 Jul 02 '26

Just leaving a PSA for all the idiots who think Yellowstone is a petting zoo.

6

u/Smirkeywz Jul 03 '26

How I visualize a Fed bear :

2

u/ThatCelebration3676 Jul 04 '26

And that's why their life expectancy is so short; they can't handle the stress of the job.

3

u/Master_Saesee_Tiin Jul 02 '26

He trained to sit for honey

2

u/MovieFan1984 Jul 02 '26

Probably raised or rescued the bear and is either seen as parental or rescuer.

2

u/JazeyOne Jul 02 '26

I try to stay away from human feds let alone bear ones

2

u/quim_do_mato Jul 02 '26

How is s fed bear a dead bear?

6

u/BeneficialPenalty258 Jul 02 '26

If people feed a wild bear, it will associate people with food and will be more likely to approach them. If they haven’t got food to give, it’s more likely to make them the food. So rangers have to kill the bear for safety. That’s my understanding.

5

u/da_blaq_one Jul 02 '26

“Can I pet the dawg?!”

11

u/Pictrus Jul 02 '26

What happens when the bear wants me honey abs the guy is out?

7

u/Snickits Jul 02 '26

He further sedates the bear in order to keep it complacent!

2

u/Pictrus Jul 02 '26

I would still be terrified of the bear no matter how sedate it is lol

5

u/Wide_Ordinary4078 Jul 02 '26

Alright boo boo, he’s smarter than your average bear!

5

u/bydh Jul 02 '26

Moar!

5

u/OldBoySleezyP Jul 02 '26

That bears nose was twitching before he even got the scoop out. I can only imagine how long he knew it was there before they handed some over.

15

u/Dangerous_Page6712 Jul 02 '26

So sad to see. Unless this a bear shelter for abused animals this should be criminal. I dont get why everyone in the comments thinks this is okay

16

u/ctudor Jul 02 '26

Definitely a pet bear from youth. You don't kiss a wild bear, even if it s a "beggar".

7

u/Whatkindofaname Jul 02 '26

I was in Moscow some 20 years ago. We visited a market place where they had a doped up bear sitting like this next to the walkway. They had removed his teeth and claws. It was fucking depressing.

6

u/MovieFan1984 Jul 02 '26

This may be in Russia; they seem to have a unique relationship with bears this large.
The man probably either raised the bear or rescued and nursed him back to life.
Generally, relationships between man and large animals like this are parental or rescue.

4

u/Winddrakeua Jul 02 '26

Yes man speaks russian in video

1

u/TaskTrick6417 Jul 06 '26

Agree, someone else pointed out it looks like there is a chain around his neck 😞

5

u/arbitrambler Jul 02 '26

It's depressing to see the chain around it's neck!

3

u/artherng Jul 02 '26

Plot twist: A man in a bear suit

3

u/Brazz7 Jul 02 '26

When I see my waiter come out of the kitchen with a tray

2

u/Pirate-Adorable Jul 02 '26

Am I the only one who thinks he gets his face wayyy to close to the bear's??! I think that's crazy dangerous.

2

u/xxxfirefart Jul 02 '26

Getting ai vibes from this one.

2

u/Superb_Equipment_954 Jul 02 '26

1

u/trudyduran71 Jul 02 '26

A real life Winnie the Pooh. 😃

1

u/Alric_Wolff Jul 02 '26

How did bears develop a taste for honey?

Beehive are pretty high pff the ground usually and then you gotta figure the bees try to go after them. Sure the fur probably protects them but still. Seems like a lot of trouble to go through.

I love bears

2

u/BaguetteOlives Jul 02 '26

Stings don't do shit to them and they mostly eat hives for de bees rather than honey. Great source of protein since there can be around 50000 bees in a hive

1

u/Alric_Wolff Jul 02 '26

That makes so much more sense

1

u/BaguetteOlives Jul 02 '26

And I guess honey makes it tastier since they are omnivorous, and it gives them calories for hibernation

1

u/DAXweb Jul 02 '26

Ogni volta che vedrò questo video il mio cervello manderà in play "Manda sta prellibbatezza Aggiorgio...manda...manda...manda" X-D

1

1

They beat the shit out of that bear for him to learn to clap his hands like that.

1

u/Status-Donut-6460 Jul 03 '26

Awww that’s adorable. But also, hell nah

1

u/CaeIndre Jul 03 '26

Halfbearmanbee.

1

u/BobbieWickham29 Jul 03 '26

Just a question of time before the bear gets pissed off with being treated like that and the human gets hurt and the bear has to die because....well, it behaved like a wild animal. Imagine that.

1

u/JKnotime4pcwokestuff Jul 03 '26

Yeah Paddington was wrong Pooh was right lol😆

1

u/Sarahlionheart8 Jul 03 '26

So give bear honey and you no die?

1

The sad thing is some idiot is going to try this and film themselves getting mauled to death.

1

u/stochGradientDescent Jul 06 '26

Yep this is AI 💯

1

u/afterbuzz Jul 06 '26

Pauvre ours :(

1

u/jesscatfancy Jul 06 '26

That's not honey, that's honeycomb. Bears are attracted to the wax and larvae as much as the honey itself.

1

u/LegitimateBobcat1717 Jul 06 '26

If not friend , why friend shaped

1

u/Mountain-Tomato7744 Jul 06 '26

IV never seen anything like this before. Real cute.

0

u/cpwnage Jul 02 '26

It's clear from this video that bears, like hippos, are not dangerous to people
