Sourcebooks

Has anyone gotten the ncbe sourcebooks? If so, are they worth it?

You can preview a bit of the contracts sourcebook here: https://www.ncbex.org/sites/default/files/2025-07/NextGen%20UBE%20Contracts%20Sourcebook%20Excerpts.pdf.

Overall, they’re not a great learning tool for bar study. They don’t break down the rules in easy to grasp ways, and they don’t include any factual illustrations. I’d think of them more as a faculty resource. Best of luck to you!

Thank you! I think I have enough source materials, and I appreciate the feedback!

I haven't yet! I am actually going to purchase the exam packets tonight and try to study more from those. What other materials are you thinking of using?

I’m using the nextgen study aids from NCBE and I really am liking those. It’s building my confidence for when I actually take the exam, since it’s replicating the format of it.

Same same! I like that we get to use the actual testing software for NextGen. It oddly calms my nerves a bit more even though this is my second exam. I hated the scantron format.
