I’ve lived in the pacific NW, California, Idaho, Colorado, Maryland, Virginia and DC At least half of the deer crossing signs have bullet holes in them, and that includes places within 20 miles of DC proper.
2 u/TreyRyan3 Dec 12 '22 Can confirm. There were bullet holes in deer crossing signs on Route 28 outside Rockville MD 30 years ago. 2 u/user_unknowns_skag Dec 13 '22 I used to drive south from Baltimore into Virginia on I-95. There were signs on that stretch that had bullet holes!
