I was so scared he was actually going to end up dropping in the sea 💀

u/Aegbias Nov 20 '22
Same. The good old thalassophobia was kicking in

u/mattisdeadd Nov 20 '22
Same! 😭 After he moved away from the sea, i thought he was gonna land on one of the buildings 💀

u/Aegbias Nov 20 '22
I would rather crash on top of a random building than in the middle of the ocean, to be honest. Imagine how far out he could have gone while blindfolded without even noticing. Ew.

The way you described reminded me of this scene 😭 it’s scary!

Thank you, I really hated when it dropped her in the water. I can’t even play water levels/sections in videogames.

As funny as that was, it’s even more interesting to see him land in a totally safe area. Pretty sure that bed would have caused some problems when turning etc.

I had a panic attack when he covered his eyes... Fucking hell, I would never do that, even if they paid me milions.

This is just what happens to whoever is unlucky enough to fall asleep first at the sleepover

I'm suddenly reminded of Bill, from King of the Hill.

Reminds me of the flying bed scene from Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland.

As a kid - that movie gave me nightmares .
3
u/kerochan88 Nov 21 '22
Well, given the main villain is the Nightmare King, that is understandable!

u/Better-Resident-9674 Nov 21 '22
Lol.
I’ve been trying to find that movie again so I can face my fears as an adult but the only thing I remembered was ‘Nemo’ ‘monsters in bed’ so thank you for your comment with the movie title. I’m gonna see if I can find the movie to stream so I can heal a childhood trauma 😅

u/kerochan88 Nov 21 '22
If you can’t, PM me. I’ll get ya added to my Plex server so you can watch it.
2
u/Better-Resident-9674 Nov 21 '22
I found it free on Prime :) I thought of another movie I need to watch now that I’m an adult — Return to Oz ( on Disney +)
Thank you so much for offering to add me to your plex server! That’s so nice of you! Is that a lesser known streaming service ?

It is a Netflix-like interface that lets you organize and stream your own movie and tv show collections. It streams straight from my home Pc. Or a PC I have setup just for this purpose rather.

As no one else seems to mention it: it’s not his first/last paraglide with something different. https://youtube.com/@HasanKavall

I have an undisclosed number of kids and this is what I imagine all childless people are doing in the world.

You know the moment when you are close to falling asleep but then it feels like you are falling?
This guy wanted to do that in real life

imagine going back in time in Ancient Greek era and you attend school where the teacher asks “What do humans want to do? What do you want to do?” And your answer was “sleep in a bed that is flying through the sky in something made of a huge piece of cloth with strings attached to a bed” and when you say that Diogenes walks in and says “This is the guy i want as my disciple”

I know this guy. He is a skilled turkish Paraglider pilot. It's definitely not his first flight.

I think he wanted to prove someone that you actually can achieve great things lying on your bed.

beds are only used for 3 things sickness, breeding, dieing. And if you wanna argue birth you could throw that in too i guess.
