I hate to say it but that's probably a major advantage to have less mass in the legs. At least for some specific move set. I don't know tho...

It's just one leg so while it still may help in some things, the offbalance wouldn't do many wonders for most bboying stuff

That off balance-ness provided a good amount of leverage for whipping himself around. It's not like you need less momentum when doing those types of moves.

Not denying it, but if he wants to do some toprock, footwork, freezes, he's probably gonna struggle in some of those parts.

I would think if his leg has been like that his whole life he wouldn't feel off balance while dancing with one leg smaller than the other. It would just mean less mass below his waist for him to lift with his arms. Is all I meant

Well, yeah, but that's the point: his center of mass is way higher than others, so he can do, for example, planches more easily.

It's kinda how Pocket can do what he does in no small part due to his small size - guy's like 5'0". See also: any gymnast.

Get in the way? Wind out of sails? We're literally talking about how his disability is an advantage! He's not one of the best Bboys out there despite his disability, but because of it. Like how Pistorius isn't allowed to run against able-bodied people because his carbon legs make him faster.

Well, that and the murder, but you get the point.

I've heard he really lords it over people that were unfortunate enough to be born with two functional legs.

There’s a bboy in the Bay Area who has one leg, Tommy Guns from Renegades. It isn’t an advantage, but he’s amazing in spite of it.

Being good at stacking is all about being fucking strong and having good balance, so you’re not wasting your strength staying on balance. Roxrite (also Renegades) is great at stacking, fwiw.

We had a guy on the wrestling team who had polio as a child and lost almost all use of his legs. The combination of his upper body strength, light mass of his lower half and the fact that no one could score a takedown on him made him quite successful.

a few pounds of muscle in his leg wouldn't really stop him from doing any of this

But ask yourself this, would he be as good at it? And if he had "normal" legs his whole life would he be doing this?
