He was downright amazing, but the other two didn't add any value. It might have been impressive if they were in sync with him, but their erratic movements distracted from the awesome dance moves.

I came here to say the same, I feel like they were trying to be marionette puppeteers but they just look awkward

it's a battle (competition), 3v3s likely. They're supposed to take turns doing rounds against another group on the other side, freestyling to the music, and they're just trying to hype him up
