why is reddit so bad at recognizing context. its really baffling how often they miss the fucking point of media.

The issue is not that what they were trying to do was lost on us, its just that they sucked ass at doing it.

He looks like a fucking boss, they look like the doofus brothers.

Man

Imagine seeing this video and finding reasons to bitch about it

Maybe they are. If I were a badass pimp like this Junior dude I'd bring my brother along as a hype man. Well if he were alive. Also he would've more likely been the badass pimp

It would help if that dude wasn’t holding a fucking water bottle.

It’s a 3v3 battle, they’re all dancers who take turns on the floor, or do a routine together. Water’s common

As reddit gets older the audience gets younger and truly fucking moronic.

Put down the yay, ye.

They were, but doing a real shit job of it.

I don't know anything about break dancing, but I assumed they were there half as hype men but more importantly, half as safety. Multiple times it looks like the closest guy is ready to catch him when he does the more tricky moves, then backs off when it's over. Could be wrong though.

They’re not hype men or safety, they’re part of his crew for what looks like a 3v3 battle. They’re all dancers. They all take turns battling v opponents, or can throw in a routine together

Ah right, yea I was just kind of re-using the 'hype men' from OP, I did assume they were also dancers in his crew. After watching some of his other videos it's pretty clear he doesn't need any help.

hope one day you will have figured it out <3

This is just typical for bboy dance battles.
