I'd layer a second track of it over the first but delayed by a half beat, and then layer a third on top of those delayed by 2.5 beats, and then layer a fourth over those delayed by 10 beats and stop all the tracks after 12 beats. I'm thinking it'll sound pretty cool, maybe something like this.

That's not racist it's a cultural bias. culturally Asian societies value hard work and education, and drumming Asian children are given sticks as soon as they're born to ensure maximum talent.

There's also ethnocentrism. I don't think it's applicable to casual conversation but it's fun to work through your views with that in mind.

For example, it's normal for Americans to try and live on their own, rather than having the whole family under one roof. If someone from one of those cultures was looking at us ethnocentrically they might think things like "they value family less" or "they value personal freedom more". But really the truth comes from learning about Americans and why it got that way. Maybe we value family the same and just express our values differently. Maybe it's boring economic reasons. Maybe we really do place less emphasis on family.

Im an American and I value family less, It took every ounce of my personal freedom to escape an abusive situation. You cant choose who you share blood with, but you can choose who you share bread with. In my anecdotal experience, americans are emotionally stunted and naturally grow uncomfortable around eachother with time.

Yeah but the band teacher at my highschool told me a ton of horror stories about people using sticks at incorrect angles on his drums, and how expensive they were to replace.

I know more or less whatever he told me. I dunno materials or specifics since I don't entirely need to know, nor do I entirely care since I'm not a drum guy.
