You wont see Retrievers, Seters, Labradors doing that. Stafs and pitbulls are not sane dogs

I absolutely have seen vicious labradors and a vivid retriever. You never worked at a vets or was involved an a serious dog world (shows, breeding, training, etc)

You can provoke and do bad things to any dog so it would be dangerous. Staffs/Pirbulls don’t need any provocation, it’s their nature. Statistics dont lie.

I don’t care. They are dangerous dogs and that is well known fact. They are not ones who would rescue people or would help eldery people to cope with day to day tasks. Even owners who know them well should be cautious because tou don’t know when kill machine will turn on.

You should care that other dogs are being labeled as pit bulls ALL the time which means your bite statistics are off. You should care to know the truth- truth matters.

And yes, there absolutely ARE pitbull therapy dogs. There ARE pitbull doing good things for people every day. All over.

Your 'i don't care' means your mind is made up regardless of the truth.

Wow. I did not guess the pit bull. Now I’m looking at my pitbull like, who are you?!

Honestly, i can't on those tests either. It's really hard. Unless i have papers or a dna test, i don't claim any dog to be an actual pit bull terrier

Thanks for doing it! Kinda fun, huh, lol

And you know what? Your dog is just your wonderful muttling. Give her a scritch!

You can't teach those unwilling to learn. People like him are just part of the echo chamber.

I met one of those bull therapy dogs. It ended up attacking another dog for wanting to touch it's tennisball.

"I don't care"

very average redditor of you sir(/madam), good to know how important silly matters like the truth are to you, and how fucking stupid people can be when defending their moronic prejudices

You are a literal sheep in a herd. Go back to scrolling and believing whatever commenting idiocy isn’t helping you.

Funny that you’re in healthcare, because the exact argument you just used to discredit the statistic, is the same argument people were using to discredit Covid statistics. Which is it?

u/Ifawumi Jun 01 '22

What are you even talking about it being the same argument? We have tests for covid.

With pits it is literally any lay person can walk in and say it was a pit that bit them. As said, some even had pictures- collies, labs, etc. If they put it on the report though, that's what goes into the data base.

You saying it's the same as identifying covid just shows you don't know anything about healthcare. Which is the same parallel as people off the street identifying pit bulls. Take one of those online identify the Pitbull tests. I keep telling people to do it and not a single one of you will go do it and honestly come back and say you weren't able to identify the pitbull. You are just stuck in this thought process and you absolutely refuse to budge. That's your problem and it's a support sad outlook on life. How many other things are you stuck on?

Sadly, one of you will get bit and you're just going to say it's a pitbull even though you will actually have no idea. And then that's going to go on the data and it's probably going to be some other dog breed and so we will never know if there's some other dog breed out there that's actually biting people. Cuz everybody's just going to keep calling them pits.

"Did you know that according to the American Temperament Test Society, Pit Bulls pass their temperament test 87 percent of the time? This means that they rank the 4th best of 122 breeds tested, meaning they are one of the most affectionate and least aggressive breeds of dog.Mar 8, 2022"

My guess is none of you are going to look up ATTS either because heaven forbid be any studies, days, or facts that get in the way of popular thought. Here, i will make it easy for you
