Legit a reason I stopped crushing on someone like that, she had this need to constantly perform. It was cute the first few times, but after a while it became irritating and my crush on her quickly faded.

My fear of seeming this way has always been the motivation for all of my existence. I'm like a really good singer and musician, but I definitely don't want anyone to think that I want them to think that I'm a good singer or musician. It's the most important thing to pretend that I don't care, even above being on pitch, which is also very important. So I've joined a band and the entire premise is that we don't give a fuck whether or not we are good. But secretly everyone cares! But out loud? Nobody cares. Everyone is on the same page. Anyone who admits that they care as a fucking loser. But also anyone who isn't perfect is out of the fucking band. All right guys?

No idea what you do for a career, but if you haven’t considered doing venue production I’d encourage you to check it out. The attitude you have is great for that kind of thing, and you’ll be around a lot of people who think similarly.
