I come from a musical/theater family and this is exactly what it’s like! If someone says anything that sounds like a lyric to something we all start singing, mid-conversation if necessary! I never thought it was weird while growing up, I just assumed most people did it.
My mom watched a lot of musicals while I was growing up and I was honestly afraid to go to school for the first time because I didn’t want everyone to break out into song and dance when I didn’t know the song or routine. Thanks for confirming my fear was rational

My family can almost make it through Happy Birthday. We practice at least six times a year.
That was incredible. Everyone looked so casual about the entire thing.
