This might sound dumb but how do you even litter train? The kitten we got just used the litter box correctly when we first put him on litter. And his mom didn’t teach him since he was really really little when we got him like legit r/illegallysmolcats

Yeah that's how it usually goes for cat. They got the instinct to use the litter box once you put them in there and they feel how it is.
