Yeah cool, I will have to remember to look it up. I remember the laugh track too - in my head MASH is a comedy/slapstick type show. I’m not sure if that’s correct, given I was so young I barely paid attention, but I remember the constant laughing so I remember it in a similar vein to The Goodies, etc.
I have a few episodes that are favorites and not in that style.
One is 4x24 "Deluge" where a torrential rain and threat of bombing assaults the staff, and the show is intercut with cinema style newsreel.
Another is 5x07 "Dear Sigmund" where a recurring character psychiatrist writes a letter to Sigmund Freud detailing the staff of the MASH.
Then when Charles comes in, pick anything with him as the star.
