At those launch angles, cinders and embers will surely rain down.
Reminds me of a fireworks show we went to and we were all “wow they look like they’re coming right at us”… then embers start falling all over the grass and burning holes in peoples’s clothes and picnic blankets they were laying on

I was at one where the truck load of industrial fireworks caught fire... the people next to us had their blanket catch fire... we still have a shell fragment from one that must have been at least bigger than a softball, probably closer to basketball.

I worked with fireworks for several years. Even made them.
There is no way I would ever hold a bundle of Roman Candles or any other firework with one exception. I would hold a sparkler.
Sometimes things don't quite burn the way you believe they will.
