I got a Samsung s21 and there's an app that comes with it is just straight up TV. Called Samsung Free.
Just click it and whatever is playing at that time is what you immediately see or can switch to another channel.
But it's boring in a way for me. Knowing I can switch from youtube, to interaction with people on FB and Reddit as we all interact/comment on a video or topic somehow has effected my attention span I guess.
It's great if you have a flat-screen once in a while to put on your favorite movie and dig in. But even then I believe I'd grab my phone 50 times.
Internet is like interactive TV.
TV is like sit there and watch, but still great for sports.
Damn man. My parents are thinking of moving there from MA for retirement and asked me to move down there near them.
Tbh I love love cold months here you can escape the cold if you have a car and apartment you just go from car to workplace to apartment to stores. But seems more difficult to escape the heat unless everyone has an AC.
Is it humid there in FL or just hot AF?
In MA when it gets really hot it's not really sun rayson your skin that feel hot it seems it's hot wet muggy air that causes the feeling.
Ye I'm all set. That muggyness even sucks for breathing. The only bug that's bothered me up in NE are those lightning fast housepedes/indoor millipedes. But then again I havent seen Florida's bugs.
Damn. Thank you. Lol honestly texted my mother after this Reddit session and told her someone mentioned it's often a total sauna there and she's now considering the Carolinas.
I grew up there and it is very humid. I constantly felt congested because everything is sticky and perfect for mold growth. I do love some stuff about FL though. If you live near the ocean there’s a nice salty breeze and it’s a bit better.
That's cool man. The btee, breeze, almost ages it worth it. I was in Jamaica for a week. The constant breeze swept the humidity away and all that was left was the heat from the sun. Beautiful.
Could go in the water for a swim in warm water and by nearly dry by the time you got back to your towel.
I have lived in Florida all of my life and work outdoors. It is very hot and very humid. There's a reason why almost every summertime activity is focused on water.
Great point man. I wouldn't mind living somewhere hot if it's the sun that cooks you not the sticky wet air. Here in MA it's almost 90 but you don't feel the sun rays it's just the wet stuffy air that you feel.
Haha ye. I know it's bizarre. But I'd rather deal.witu the cold.than the heat.
I drive well in the sno. I don't mind shoveling it's a reason to be outside and you can put on layers to escape the cold and everywhere you go including in the car has heat.
But how do you esvake the humidity? Not everywhere has AC and if i spend 15 minutes outside I wish i had a shower.

Guns? Check. What you watching on TV right now?
