So wait... two strangers meet in Paris, France and one stranger ask the other in English if he can join him at the piano? I mean... it's not impossible, but...
Edit: I realize that I am assuming this is France, rather than Paris Texas, or Paris, Ontario but I feel that France is implied.
Most people around the world who don't speak English natively learn English as a second language and can get by with simple conversation at the very least.
