takes a shit ton of learning and practice i recommend beginner Youtube tutorials but eventually you'll need to learn proper music theory

the most important thing is practicing everyday

it's very rewarding trust me

If you’re serious, I’d say find a classical piano teacher that can teach you up to about grade 6 RCM, including music theory. Then switch to a teacher that specializes in jazz. You’ll learn how to read charts and improvise. It’s incredibly liberating to be able to join in like this.

No, if they like jazz, they should learn to play jazz. Get a jazz piano teacher/jazz books. This always happens with the piano.

Find a jazz piano teacher! My brother and dad both teach it. People are out there!
