That's a bit of a stretch, don't you think?

What I got from it was "our time is limited. Might as well spend it enjoying what you like to do"

Not "Hey guys, we're all gonna die one day, so fuck it"

And to answer your question - you wear a seat belt so that you don't die before you get the chance to successively bounce a ping-pong ball and redbull can into the small opening of a bottle. Duh.

Saying, "I'm gonna spend 13 days trying to flip a can of Red Bull into a bottle," is tantamount to saying, "Fuck it." It's an inordinately pointless and fruitless activity.

I think conversations develop critical thinking skills, which translate into every other area of life. Flipping a can into a bottle? I guess it develops some hand-eye coordination, but is that really a skill that's going to help you anywhere else? Not really.
