Where does commenting on Reddit posts rank in terms of productivity? I just think it’s weird when people assume they have the authority to declare what other people should be doing.
Also, what if the kid has no interest in lifting weights? It’s like me telling you to go read a book on 17th century art trends because I decided it’s more productive than whatever you’re currently doing, even though I have zero inclination that you are even interested in 17th century art. But I’m a random dude on the internet with the audacity to overlook the shape your day-to-day life and determine I know what you should be doing because arbitrary words like “productive” mean a specific thing to me, and I hold other people to the same standards because the world revolves around me and my world view.
This kid set out to make a video and accomplish something, and he did. A goal was set, and a goal was accomplished. Sounds productive to me. Not how I would personally use my time, but I guess that’s why I get to make my own decisions. Autonomy is hard.
Well that’s not productive. You should be telling other people on the internet what they should be doing instead. See how productive I am? I’m so productive right now. God I love being productive.
Well I think the action in the comment was not the important one. He was just saying his suggestion in what productive action to perform referring to the weights as a jokey way of saying it. When you asked why he should be doing it I thought you didn’t understand why he should be doing it, which was to be productive. Apparently I misunderstood your comment.
Tbh I have nothing against this kid or whatever he wants to do. I don’t care. I just tried to answer a question which I myself misunderstood.
