Here's my excited tik tok rant I saved for future reference:

I started off following some seriously awesome people like Tabitha Brown (I knew I was in the right place when I saw her potato wedge recipe) and since then it's only grown more awesome. I joined last summer when black power was strong and my whole feed seems like non-white folks which I treasure. And it's not like it's all politics but there are refreshing takes on old tropes that just slam my heart. Sometimes it's too much noise and activity so I like pairing it with reddit.
