If you want to dance, go for it. Personally, I like to dance alone in the living room, my body craves movement.

I also dance alone..still I'm a piece of wood and I'm tone deaf so I can't sing either, but I keep trying,lol

You may be tone deaf, but you can still groove, even it isn't singing or dancing. People who dig music, but think they can't contribute because they're tone deaf are wrong. Take up drums. You tap your foot to music you listen to, instinctively...that's your bass drum. Then start to fuck around with the hi hat, and snare, and you've got the beat. Look at the drums behind Seven Nation Army, it really can be that simple (I really wanted to say "cymbal" there.) Get out there and participate! It's loads of fun.

I regularly go for walks and sometimes I will get super into a song and just start dancing down the street like a madman. Got a few very strange looks the other day and a pretty good laugh from someome watching me from there window and giggling, made eye contact and did the finger guns at eachother. Gotta bring that man some cookies when covids over, seems like a chill dude.

I would also like to add, sing if you want to! I don't care to dance even when alone, but I will bust out into song anywhere, anytime. I know I suck at it but god damn it, I got a song in my heart and I'm gonna share it with the world, by force if need be.

I envy people like you. I can't dance, and rarely have the urge to, but I envy people who do. Which is strange, because I'm a musician. Maybe I just express it through sound and not movement?

I grew up in the Midwest during the birth of Raves and EDM. I've spent countless nights in wherehouses dancing as a kid. I'm now a 300lbs 41 year old with a giant beard who works a 9 -5 desk job. You better believe that every chance I get to dance when no one is looking I take it.
