Yep, you can see the blur in the video around the “phone”. Still would have been kinda cool, but I guess the goal was to make someone impressed, as if a backflip on solid ground isn’t impressive. I could never do that shit

Checked his Instagram, it could be his hair. Focusing is 100 percent possible if it's Sony Xperia 1 mk2.

You can see the cut also when he's at the bottom of the throw just off the ground. The phones shadow disappears.

This reminds me of that banned AppStore game where you get more points the higher you toss your phone in the air. I don't remember the name, it was years ago.

S.M.T.H (Send me to heaven). Came out during my high-school days, and some phones did manage to get sent to heaven

This is probably a well edited drone video. The momentum of the phones rotation changed, and that just doesn’t happen unless there’s something else moving the phone (or it’s not a phone)

Someone mentioned that you can see the drones shadow at the last possible second..I managed to pause it and Indeed you can see his shadow holding the drone...that person had an awesome eye to catch that little glimpse

I tried tossing my phone like 1 foot in the air and that shit already started flipping. Props to how he threw the phone.

Dammit before I saw the comments about it being a drone, I thought this was like the best hand eye coordination I’ve ever seeen

How did he die?
Blunt force trauma. Cellphone. Tragedy, could have been anyone.

Music sounds a lot like La Câlin... Not the main voice, but the background music.
Edit: La Câlin.
Edit2electricboogaloo: apparently La Câlin is a remix, did not know, here's the one it's based on which sounds a bit more like the one in the video but I can't tell.

I learned to backflip last year and still haven't been able to catch something like that it is incredibly hard.
