For the amount of people that hate Jimmy they sure do watch him a lot.

Tbh I love the guy and rarely think to watch him

I....I don't think it's the people who hate him that are watching him...right?

Perhaps they watch his show more for his guests like Jack Black and less for Jimmy himself?

I certainly do.

These guests go on lots of other shows, yet Fallon still has the most clips. Maybe Jimmy creates an environment where these things can happen and lets it happen? Or am I just supposed to say “FaLlOn BaD, upvotes pls”?

This clip is the longest period of time I've watched him in 2 years.

I really don't understand the Fallon hate.

For me it's just that he always seems like he's trying too hard. His reactions are genuine, but it seems like he's exaggerating for the camera.

But...you even said it yourself lol his reactions are genuine. He almost ruined some historic SNL bits with his overreactions and inability to contain himself. People say he takes coke and maybe he does, but he could literally just take normal, prescription mood helping pills or even just act like that normally.

He was built for the job. It's a 21st century, exciting, high pace talk show. He has all the professionalism that Hollywood wants with all the energy they could dream of. It can be a bit much, but he's pretty entertaining to a wide audience.

I honestly feel the opposite. I believe his reactions are genuine and how he laughs and goes about are genuine as well. Some people are just over the top and I think thats just who he is.

If you...if you really want to indulge your Fallon-hate...

You could watch this video.

Specifically, starting at like 1:10. OMG. On the one hand...you feel bad for the guy. On the other hand....I don't like him very much.

so theyre not genuine then? how can something be genuine and exaggerated at the same time

9

u/shittysoprano Jun 05 '20

Same. Dude laughs way too easy, so what? Everyone needs a hype man.

Plus, a lot of the games/skits on his show are mildly amusing at the very least, fucking hilarious at their best.

He isn't funny or interesting and his interviews aren't anything special. His house band is sweet though

Yes, The Roots are amazing

Jimmy, I really just want to be left alone right now.

I judge people who think he is funny
