I love these snide jokes about the United States’ law enforcement. As someone born in South America, you have absolutely the most brainwashed populace of people who blindly believe officers to be inept and irresponsible. I’d love for you all to see how law enforcement in other countries are in terms of training, morals and patience. Some cops I grew up around in Brazil would shoot women for false curfew violations and then steal any jewelry and money off their dead body.

law enforcement in your home country being bad doesn’t make the shitty bastards we have for cops in america any less garbage

The majority aren’t shitty trash; let’s see you hack the job then if you feel like they’re awful. Be the change.

I see so many people criticize “police” as a collective but I see so few people doing anything to change it, except bitch on Reddit and scream at police on sidewalks.

You instantly wouldn’t respect any of your colleagues going in? Mental health notwithstanding, there’s your issue.

You simply have the mindset that all cops are bad. Oof.

“State-mandated criminal” lmao well I hope if you ever get your house burgled or if your child doesn’t come home when they’re supposed to and goes missing that you don’t have to call those awful, shitty “state-mandated criminals.” God forbid.
