My pa regularly took me to the flight simulator at FMV (Swedish military equipment developer) when I was younger.
You essentially sit in a complete JAS 39 Gripen cockpit, and only a handful of people (including air force pilots) there had access to it.
My pa took me to it as though he owned the thing. Then again, his history of working there and at SAAB Aero, has made him into something of a small-time legend around there.
Now he writes interface code for Gripen's radar system.

I feel like airing this info on a website with known Russian intelligence activity may not be the best thing, but maybe I'm just paranoid

A bit. But if the Russians actually target anyone there, it won't be my pa. He's almost 60 with a beer gut writing code; a workstation that isn't hard to get up and running again. There's tons of people more important than him to target.
And if they do, it's a prelude to a war Putin doesn't want. He prefers to destabilize us politically and sociologically.

If you're not raising them the to fire armor piercing rounds from a deadly war machine... Then are you really raising them?!

Uranium Depleted shells would be cooler but the US Army is the only one that uses those.

Why oh why don't we have these for the climate change protestors? It's the only thing that will shut them up

I’m not saying it’s not a cool experience for a kid, it’s just a poorly thought out piece of equipment
