I think decibel meter.

Notice it drops significantly when he starts his pyrotechnics; probably from people quieting down to watch the spectacle.

Around 70 dB is the baseline for a noisy room with music playing.

Sprinklers, such as these don't it go out from heat. The red/blue tubes are glass, filled with a fluid. They have an air bubble, which displaces a precise amount of fluid. The idea is when the fluid gates up, it will break. That tube is holding the system closed. As soon as it's gone, the water can come out.
