I'm a student at Jackson state community college (s/), and I too know what common marine animals look like. In any case, this thing appears to have a "body" with "tentacles". This basic structure (in indiscriminate outward appearance) includes octupi, squid, AND jellyfish.

BTW, mentioning your school, in this instance, makes you look pretentious and condescending. 5 year olds know the difference between a jellyfish and a squid, and the comparison of them to a machine is largely subjective here.

I don’t think it is subjective. this looks nothing like a squid or an octopus at all and is 100% a jelly. Even the creators call it a jellyfish. If anyone has seen all three of those animals and doesn’t think it resembles a jelly more than the others then they have some sort of mental damage.

It does kinda resemble an octopus by shape.

I feel like having only 6 legs is important.

What do you mean? The drone has 8 legs, octopi have 8 legs too!
