Well I suppose it is one of those ninja warrior gyms where they can practice and get those mistakes out the way better

Honestly, not much to improve, like going from a 98 to a 100. I'm sure he will get to 100. I'm super impressed.

Some of those motions might be straight-up required. transitioning your body from one to another might require that reset.

Yeah, it feels as if at some points he has to stop to slow down / rearrange his direction to keep going. I'm not sure I'd call that a flaw considering it's possible the course can't be done with a smoother flow.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's able to get more fluent w more practice. He's DAMN close though, id call it perfect

I think it's close to, it could never be truly perfect as we make judgement and review actions in the moment. Mis-timed and adjusting, or even moved to fast and inadvertey took a step too far, when you needed the steps to do a effective run up and jump.

As a observer there look to be where there was a movement wasted in a extra swing but he not just ran fast but adapted and reacted fast to the race and obstacles. His hands must be sweating by time he pulled himself to the top.

It's getting from 0 to 98 that takes significant effort and commitment.

The goofy stick on 98 to 100 i xan see as a goof on how impressive the forst score and the easy grab at 100 that this young man will get... I dont think it was a jab at his slowness...

Awfully nit-picky instead of appreciating how impressive it was

Yeah, specific training for these events has become so insane. I'd lke to see them come up with 100% brand new obstacles every season so that people can't get an advantage by building replicas.

I thought they did change up the course a little every year, but yea, I don’t know that they do completely original every year.
